We have medicaid for my daughter and Medicaid is willing to pay for 8 hours of private duty nursing per night to be provided by an RN or LPN.  The problem is we cannot find #1) many companies that offer this and #2) even the few companies that offer this do not have any nurses to send out.

The decision by medicaid if you qualify for nursing is based on the "acquity grid" which is a list of medical tasks required.
